Kirsten Price Passed the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) Exam
To Obtain In-Depth Knowledge of Personal Financial Planning and Maximize Value for Clients

Kirsten Simon passed the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) exam on Friday, July 29, 2016.  Once her 2-year experience requirement is completed in January of 2017, she will be able to put the CFP® credential behind her name.  The CFP® designation is awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board).

Prior to passing the CFP® exam, Kirsten engaged in extensive studying of an array of financial planning subjects covered on the exam.  Some of these topics include professional conduct and regulation, principles of financial planning, education planning, risk management and insurance planning, investment planning, tax planning, retirement savings and income planning, and estate planning.  In order to qualify for the exam, she also had to fulfill the academic coursework requirement, which includes completing courses that concentrate on key personal financial planning disciplines.

The knowledge Kirsten gained from studying for and passing the CFP® exam strengthens her ability to provide valuable financial planning services to D3’s clients.
